A dedicated employee and resident of West Long Branch has been honored for her exceptional commitment to saving lives.
Stephanie Flynn, who is the Senior Donation Resource Specialist at the NJ Sharing Network, received the Spirit Award. She received the award due to her commitment to the organization’s mission.
The NJ Sharing Network is a non-profit organization that is responsible for the recovery and placement of donated tissues and organs for New Jersey residents who need life-saving transplants.
The group has partnered with Donate life America, which encourages communities to increase registered donors. Together, the organizations honor those who gave and pay tribute to those who received.
The Spirit Award is presented once a year to an employee who goes above and beyond. It was presented to Flynn by Chair of NJ Sharing Network Foundation Board of Trustees, Peter Rooney.
Flynn could not be happier to receive the award from this organization.
“Every time I look at this award, I will smile and know that every call, late night shifts, tears and laughs with families is more than being an employee at the Sharing Network; I have become part of someone’s life–someone’s family and legacy.”
