A fight Monday between two students at John Witherspoon Middle School sent one of them to the hospital and the other to jail, Princeton Police said.
Police said a 14-year-old student allegedly hit another 14-year-old-student in the face, sending the victim to University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro.
The alleged attacker was taken into custody and later transported to the Middlesex County Juvenile Detention Center, police said.
The victim was released from the hospital later Monday.
