EAST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP – East Windsor Township Mayor Janice S. Mironov, joined by council members John Zoller and Alan Rosenberg and Lightbridge Academy owners and operators, cut the ribbon for the grand opening of the new Lightbridge Academy on Route 130 North at the eastern intersection of Old Cranbury Road in East Windsor Township.
Lightbridge Academy, a 9,934-square-foot center, provides child care and enrichment and learning experiences for children ages six weeks through pre-kindergarten.
“Lightbridge Academy is a welcome addition to East Windsor Township providing another option for use by local families for their children, offering child care and child educational development,” said Mayor Mironov. “Lightbridge Academy, a known brand which has been expanding its facilities throughout the region, has located in a prime visible and accessible site along the vibrant East Windsor Route 130 corridor.”
Established in 1997, Lightbridge Academy provides early education and child care as well special programming for children up to 10 years old during school holidays, breaks and summer camp.
The company franchised in 2011 in an effort to expand its concept throughout the Northeast, and currently has more than 70 child care centers open or in development throughout Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
