Cranbury Township will have its final leaf collection of the year beginning the week of Dec. 26.
The autumn leaf collection began Oct. 24 and was collected weekly. To date, the the Department of Public Works has completed eight collection passes within the township.
The week of Dec. 26 will be the final pass for leaf collection. During this week, once leaves have been collected, do not replenish it. The Department of Public works is striving to clear the leaves before any inclement weather arrives.
Be watchful of leaf placement at the curb because non-point source pollution (NPS) if washed down the storm drains can occur.
Leaf collection schedule begins at North Main Street, from Route 130 South to Cranbury Green and includes:
Plainsboro Road Station Road and Cranbury Station hamlet.
Prospect Street Stockton Drive.
Bunker Hill Evans Tract.
Cranbury Neck Road Maplewood Avenue.
Symmes Court Park Place.
Wynnewood Section.
Shady Brook Lane.
Westminster Place.
Wesley Place.
Old Trenton Road Scott Avenue.
Shadow Oaks (both sides) Cranbury Estates.
South Main Street, north of the circle Cranbury Walk.
Residents not living on the above route but desire leaf collection service should call 395-0900, ext. 229 to be placed on the schedule.
