The Metuchen Recreation Commission will hold its annual Mother-Son Bowling event from 2-4 p.m. on Jan. 15 at the Majestic Lanes in Hopelawn (about five miles from Metuchen).
This event is open to residents (and St. Francis students) in kindergarten through eighth grade. The event will consist of two hours of bowling, rental of shoes/ball, lunch and a photo. Six people per lane. Pre-registration is required, $40 per couple plus $19 per additional child.
Registration forms are available at the Metuchen Recreation office, 500 Main St., Metuchen, as well as on the borough website www.metuchennj.org. The deadline to register is Jan. 11 or as long as lanes are still available.
