Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus … at Princeton Airport for the 41st year

Upholding his longstanding tradition, Santa Claus arrived on Christmas Eve at Princeton Airport.
For the 41st year, Santa Claus appeared from out of the sky, bringing toys to many of the children gathered at the airport off State Road (Route 206) just north of Princeton.
This year Santa alighted from a helicopter before joining the crowd of kids and parents in the airport’s hangar.
The children had been entertained with holiday songs by Pat McKinley and cocoa and cookies thanks to airport owners the Nierenberg family.
Santa distributed gifts to many in the crowd. For a child to receive a gift from Santa, a gift was also donated for a less fortunate child, to be distributed by Mercer County Social Services. Food and monetary donations were also collected to aid the FoodBank Network of Somerset County.
