During the Dec. 20 Hillsborough Township Committee meeting, officials approved the resolution allowing members of the local American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) and Teamsters organizations to receive the raises.
“Each year, based upon the local labor contract, members of the AFSCME union are selected to receive merit increases, and new this year, members of Teamsters Local 469 are also selected,” Mayor Frank DelCore said.
