Drs. Cavan Brunsden and Nancy Villa of KidZdent, 2455 Route 516, Old Bridge, will provide free preventive and restorative dental care and, if necessary, make referrals for continuing treatment, for needy children ages 12 and under during the one-day Give Kids A Smile event planned for Feb. 3.
The program is part of National Children’s Dental Health Month, the American Dental Association’s annual push to bring attention to the No. 1 childhood disease: tooth decay.
Children who come to Dr. Brunsden’s office on Feb. 3 will receive a comprehensive dental examination, oral healthcare instruction, fluoride treatments and free dental-hygiene materials including toothbrushes, toothpaste and floss. Parents must make an appointment to have their child treated.
Give Kids A Smile is a statewide effort coordinated by the New Jersey Dental Association and managed by Dr. Brunsden for the past 15 years. To date, more than 38,000 children have been through the program.
