East Windsor honors volunteers that serve on boards, committees

East Windsor Mayor Janice S. Mironov provided certificates of appreciation to volunteers completing a term on township boards and committees, recognizing and honoring their service to East Windsor Township, at the 2017 East Windsor reorganization meeting., Mayor Mironov praised the community members, saying that “volunteers provide an invaluable service to the township by contributing their time, experience and interest to enhance our community. Volunteers are an important component of our municipal government, providing input and ideas for consideration and helping to implement many of our programs and activities. We are gratified and appreciative in East Windsor to have so many people willing to give their time to support and assist our efforts to serve our residents.”, The mayor encouraged residents to volunteer to serve on a township board or committee, to obtain a better view of how local government operates and to share with local officials their thoughts and suggestions., Volunteers recognized by Mayor Mironov were Murray Barnett (Clean Communities), Patrick Condon (Clean Communities), Hash Shah (Commission on Aging), Deborah Thomas (Commission on Aging), George White (Chairperson, Economic Development Committee), Kelly Klein (Economic Development Committee), Magregoir Simeon (Economic Development Committee), Ronald Balint (Environmental Commission), Gary Wroblewski (Environmental Commission), Jagruti Patel (Planning Board), Vandana Mathur (Recreation Commission) and Steven Kurs (East Windsor Municipal Utilities Authority)
