NORTH BRUNSWICK – Volunteers from all three fire companies responded to a fire on Haverford Street, where no injuries were reported.
Just after 11 p.m. Jan. 18, patrol units from the North Brunswick Police Department (NBPD) were dispatched to respond with the North Brunswick Volunteer Fire Department to a reported house.
Upon arrival, the police found the rear of the house ablaze, and confirmed that all residents were able to safely escape the home prior to arrival, according to a statement prepared by the NBPD.
Firefighters from North Brunswick Volunteer Fire Cos. 1, 2 and 3 were able to bring the fire under control in under 45 minutes.
The North Brunswick First Aid & Rescue Squad, Inc. and the North Brunswick Township Office of Emergency Management also responded to assist.
An investigation is underway by the North Brunswick Fire Marshal’s Office along with police detectives.
