The East Windsor Township Police Department initiated the following police reports through Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017., Charles D. Parks Jr., 35, of Goldsboro, N.C., was charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon after an incident at 10:57 p.m. Jan. 6 in the Holiday Inn parking lot., Officers responded to the Holiday Inn on a report of an assault. The investigation revealed that two co-workers who were staying at the hotel were involved in a verbal dispute which escalated into a physical altercation. During the altercation the suspect was in possession of a knife and the victim sustained a laceration to the abdomen and wrist. The victim was transported to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick for treatment and later released. Mr. Parks was arrested and remanded to Mercer County Corrections pending court action., Sereno B. Pagano, 21, of Yardville, N.J., was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia. failure to inspect and CDS in a motor vehicle after being stopped at 8:38 a.m. Jan. 11 on Route 130., While on patrol an officer observed a vehicle traveling on Route 130 with an expired inspection sticker. The vehicle was stopped and while speaking with the driver, the officers smelled the odor of marijuana from within the vehicle. The investigation revealed the driver was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Pagano was arrested and later released pending court action., The Hightstown Police Department initiated the following police reports from Jan. 9 through Jan. 17, 2017., Steven L. Quizhpi-Gomez, 21, of the 100 block of Hauser Avenue, was arrested Jan. 9 for an active warrant out of the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office, during the course of a motor vehicle stop on Morrison Avenue. Mr. Quizhpi-Gomez was transported to police headquarters, booked, processed, and released after posting bail., Harvey R. Henry, 35, of East Windsor, was arrested Jan. 13 for possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia, during the course of a motor vehicle stop on Mercer Street. Mr. Henry was transported to police headquarters, booked, processed, and released on a summons complaint with a pending court date., Alejandro R. Gonzalez, 22, of Hamilton, was stopped Jan. 15 on Stockton Street for speeding. During the course of the motor vehicle stop, the officer detected a strong odor of raw marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. Mr. Gonzalez was arrested during the stop for active warrants out of Princeton Township Municipal Court and West Windsor Municipal Court. During the course of the traffic stop, the front seated passenger, identified as Jordy M. Ordonez, 22, of Hamilton, was arrested for possessing less than 50 grams of marijuana, and for possessing drug paraphernalia on his person. Mr. Gonzalez and Mr. Ordonez were transported to police headquarters, booked, processed, and both charged with possessing marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Gonzales was issued motor vehicle summonses for speeding, driving while suspended, and later released on a summons complaint with a pending court date. Mr. Ordonez was also released on a summons complaint with a pending court date., Juan P. Diaz, 26, of Hamilton, was arrested Jan. 16 for an active warrant out of East Windsor Municipal Court, during the course of a motor vehicle stop on Stockton Street. Mr. Diaz was transported to police headquarters, booked, processed, and turned over the East Windsor Police Department, in lieu of bail., , Luis A. Mendez-Rios, 23, of Perth Amboy, was arrested Jan. 17 for possessing less than 50 grams of marijuana, and possessing drug paraphernalia, during the course of a motor vehicle stop on Monmouth Street. Mr. Mendez-Rios was transported to police headquarters, booked, processed, and released on a summons complaint with a pending court date.
