JACKSON – Six people were arrested and charged with drug offenses after police conducted a search of a Jackson residence in the early morning hours of Jan. 19.
At 5 a.m., detectives, police officers and members of the Ocean County Special Response Team detained several individuals and searched a residence on West Commodore Boulevard.
Police said the search of the residence and the arrest of six individuals between the ages of 18 and 23 were the result of an ongoing investigation by the Jackson Police Department Detective Bureau into the distribution of illegal narcotics.
Police said the search resulted in the seizure of substances believed to be marijuana and heroin, plus cash, drug paraphernalia related to narcotics use and distribution, and a Taurus Judge 45/410 handgun.
Police said the following people were arrested:
• Ramel Andujar, 23, of Jackson, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), possession of CDS with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of a handgun and possession of a weapon while committing certain CDS offenses (possession with intent). Andujar was placed in the Ocean County Jail, Toms River.
• Larry Crippen, 18, of Jackson, was charged with possession of CDS, possession of CDS with intent to distribute and receiving stolen property (a stolen credit card which was recovered). Crippen had an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of Howell. He was placed in the Ocean County Jail.
• Jeremiah Hinze, 19, of Jackson, was charged with possession of CDS, possession of CDS with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hinze was processed and released.
• Faysal Forbes, 23, of Jackson, was charged with possession of CDS. He was processed and released.
• Rebecca Dynov, 22, of Jackson, was charged with possession of CDS. She was processed and released.
• Danielle Helms, 19, of Jackson, was charged with possession of CDS. She was processed and released.
