Middletown Township Public Schools will hold its first annual Middletown District Health and Wellness Fair. This community-wide event will take place in the Middletown High School North Cafeteria from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. on March 16. Admission is free. Attendees of the Health and Wellness Fair will benefit from free or low-cost early detection, preventative health screenings and educational opportunities.
This is an opportunity for community members to gather information from a variety of health and wellness organizations that can have a positive impact on lifestyle and well-being. Some goals of the Health and Wellness Fair are to:
• Increase personal health awareness
• Provide health screenings and educational material
• Motivate behavioral changes
• Increase knowledge of community resources
There will be various interactive demonstrations to give a hands-on opportunity to have fun while you learn. Some of the activities include:
Screenings and measurements:

■ Hearing
Educational/informational opportunities:
■ Nutrition resources
■ Smoking cessation programs
■ Eldercare resources
