The Metuchen-Edison Historical Society’s annual Local History Day will be held from 1-4 p.m., Feb. 26, at the Metuchen Public Library, 480 Middlesex Ave., Metuchen.
This year’s theme includes items in the collection relevant to World War I as well as the Raritan Arsenal, USS Texas, World War I veterans and Thomas Edison. In addition, collections of old photographs and postcards of Metuchen and Edison, old maps and aerial photographs, historic house information and an update on the Colonial Cemetery will be on display.
All publications and merchandise will be on sale, photograph reprint orders will be taken and memberships will be accepted. This program is free and open to the public.
