The Old Bridge Public Library, Route 516 and Cottrell Road, will participate in National Take Your Child to the Library Day 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Feb. 4.
The first 100 children to show their library card at the Children’s Desk will receive a goodie bag. Youngsters also will have the opportunity to obtain a library card if they do not have one. Activities will include a “Let a Smile Be Your Umbrella Story Time” at 11 a.m., a “Lego Lab” at noon, and crafts hosted by the Old Bridge Girl Scouts 11 a.m.-1 p.m. There will be a scavenger hunt in which children will follow the clues to victory and then be entered to win a prize pack from JEI Learning Center, Old Bridge.
