LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP: Driver killed in Princeton Pike crash identified as local woman (Updated)

The driver of a car who was killed in a head-on collision on Princeton Pike Monday morning has been identified as 76-year-old Maddie Everett of Lawrence Township, according to the Lawrence Township Police Department., The car was traveling south on Princeton Pike when it was struck by a pickup truck driven by Henry Hoffler, 47, of Trenton at 6:46 a.m., police said. The pickup truck was traveling north when the accident occurred on a stretch of Princeton Pike, north of Lewisville Road., Mr. Hoffler suffered a medical emergency, which caused him to veer into the southbound lane. The pickup truck struck the car, whose driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Both vehicles were found off the road., Mr. Hoffler had to be extricated from the pickup truck. He was reported to be in stable condition at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, having suffered injuries to his head and ribs, police said.
