HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP: Fire commissioner makes pledge for re-election

To the editor:, My name is Joseph M. Lenarski, and I am a candidate for re-election as Fire Commissioner, to the Hopewell Township Fire District No. 1., The Board of Fire Commissioners of the Fire District is a publicly elected body, charged with managing the fire protection needs of our Township. In addition, the Emergency Medical Services and Fire Code Enforcement of the town are also overseen., It has been an extreme honor and a privilege to serve as one of the Fire Commissioner’s for the last ten years. I have resided in Hopewell Township with my family, in the Mershon Chase Section of Brandon Farms for the last sixteen and a half years. This, coupled with my forty-one years of experience in Fire and Emergency Services and lifelong passion for Fire Safety, allows me to bring to the Board my prospective to the unique fire protection needs of our community. This while also balancing these needs, at the most cost effective manner for you, the taxpayers., The election will take place on Saturday, February 18, between the hours of 2 and 9 p.m. The polling location is the Hopewell Township Municipal Building., Thank you for the consideration of your vote, to allow me another opportunity to continue working with our dedicated volunteers, career staff and support professionals, to keep our community safe from fire and disaster., I pledge that if reelected, I will continue to give the position my all., Joseph M.
