With sadness we announce the passing of Francis Ronald Hogan of White House, Tenn., formerly of Manalapan, on Jan. 4, 2017.
Ron was born on June 27, 1935 to Joseph and Naomi Hogan (nee Williams) in Jersey City.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years Jacqueline (Bauerle) Hogan of White House,Tenn.; children Ronald Hogan and daughter-in-law Lisa Hogan of Gallatin, Tenn., Richard Hogan of Manalapan, Robert Hogan of White House, Tenn., and daughter Linda (Jerry) McSpadden of Houston. He is also survived by his grandchildren Elisabeth (Clark) Osborne of Evansville, Ind., John Hogan of Gallatin, Tenn., and Amanda Hogan of Freehold.
Ron liked to sing country music and play his guitar at the Albert Music Hall in Waretown. Some of his other hobbies were flying radio controlled airplanes, woodworking and writing music.
Ron was instrumental in organizing the Manalapan Township Construction Department from the mid 1970s through the 1980s, a town in which he resided for more than 35 years, until retiring to White House, Tenn., in 1996.
His proudest accomplishment was his family. We take comfort in knowing he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He life was blessed beyond measure. He will be missed, but his memory will be celebrated forever. Mr. Hogan’s remains were cremated and placed in a columbarium at Hillcrest Municipal Cemetery, White House, Tenn.
