The Metuchen Library Gallery, 480 Middlesex Ave., Metuchen, will present an exhibit by Joan Arbeiter entitled “Friends and Neighbors”…Life size paintings and drawings. The opening reception will be held from 1-4 p.m. on March 5 (March 12 in case of inclement weather) and run for 8 weeks. The installation will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. March 2; take down will be on April 28.
Joan Arbeiter”s work has been seen in more than 30 solo exhibitions and 100 group exhibitions. Her work is in the permanent collection of the Noyes Museum, the Ms. Foundation and in public and private collections throughout the country.The artist is an inaugural member of the Ceres Gallery in Chelsea, New York.
