For the eighth year in a row, the Kortney Rose Foundation (KRF) will hold its “Great Food for a Great Cause Fundraiser” to benefit pediatric brain tumor research.
The fundraiser will be held Feb. 25 and 26 from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. at all 13 Turning Point Restaurant locations in Brick, Cherry Hill, Hoboken, Holmdel, Little Silver, Long Branch, Manalapan, Marlton, Princeton, Sea Girt and Westfield in New Jersey and Bryn Mawr and Warrington in Pennsylvania.
Every donation will go directly to pediatric brain tumor research.
Guests who donate a minimum of $25 to KRF during the fundraiser will receive a Turning Point gift card, which is good for two entrees.
Owner of Turning Point, Kirk Ruoff, along with his wife, Pam, love sponsoring KRF.
“Year after year our staff and patrons look forward to this fundraiser, and their effort and enthusiasm [are] reflected in the tremendous generosity that is shown at this popular event,” he said. “The restaurant is one of KRF’s largest corporate sponsors.”
Last year, $56,000 was raised for KRF, which helped raise funds for pediatric brain tumor research for the Children’s Brain Tumor Consortium at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Over the past few years, the Turning Point weekend fundraiser, has raised $200,000.
