She was born in Morenci, Michigan and had been a resident of Pennington for 45 years.
She graduated with honors from Albion College, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and received her masters degree from the University of Michigan. At the time of her passing Virginia was president of the Princeton Toy and Doll Museum in Hopewell.
She was former President of the Hopewell Business Association and a member of the United Federation of Doll Clubs and the Doll Collectors of America.
She is the daughter of the late Myrtle and Vernon Baldwin and is survived by her husband of 55 years, Leslie Lynnwood Aris and two sons; John and his wife, Lana Aris and James Aris. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Mark, Amy and Ashley.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
