Cheers to New Girl
for figuring out what to do with Winston (Lamorne Morris, with Nasim Pedrad). After seasons of uneven storylines, Girl has finally tapped into Morris’s goofiness and found him a perfectly weird partner in Pedrad’s Aly.
Cheers to Legion
for giving us a Marvel-ous twist on the superhero genre. Trippy, stylish and still exciting as hell, FX’s drama starring Dan Stevens (with Aubrey Plaza) as the mutant son of the X-Men’s Professor Xavier feels like a classic comic book on mind-altering meds. And we’re completely addicted.
Jeers to Lisa Rinna
for fake lip-service. When Kyle Richards called her out for talking smack on sis Kim, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills pot-stirrer didn’t own it — she feigned amnesia and cried that she couldn’t remember. Honey, the camera never forgets … and neither do we.
Jeers to Britney Ever After
for being a toxic mess. We should have been a slave for Lifetime’s biopic about the pop star (channeled by Natasha Bassett, with Nathan Keyes), but between the outrageous Brit-Timberlake dance-off and laughable dialogue, it just didn’t work, b–ch.
