NORTH BRUNSWICK – Police have finally cracked their case, identifying the final two of four people accused of egging dozens of cars in North Brunswick.
Dubbed the “mad eggers” by North Brunswick police, Manraj Singh, 19, of Carteret, and Simranjit Singh, 21, of Sayreville, were taken into custody in the late afternoon of March 3, according to information provided by the North Brunswick Police Department.
Earlier that day, police had announced that two suspects were in custody: Taranbir Singh, 18, and Hamza Ahmed, 20, both of Carteret.
All four men were charged with numerous counts of criminal mischief, processed and released, according to police.
More than 70 incidents of vehicles being egged in the Hidden Lake area of North Brunswick had been reported over the past few weeks.
