Charles Clarkson will present “Don’t Be a Victim,” a program that teaches attendees how to become better health care consumers, at 7 p.m. on March 21 at Neve Shalom, 250 Grove Ave., Metuchen.
A retired attorney formerly serving as Vice President, Deputy Counsel and Corporate Secretary of TLC Beatrice International Holdings, Inc., Mr. Clarkson has for more than a decade served the Jewish Family Services (JFS) of Middlesex County as Project Director for the Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) program.
The JFS program is part of a national SMP network funded by the US Administration for Community Living (ACL) with programs in all 50 states. SMPs educate Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries, family members and caregivers about preventing, detecting and reporting health care fraud. The March 21 presentation is open to all at no charge and refreshments will be served.
