By Philip Sean Curran, Staff Writer
A stretch of Route 206 south of Quaker Road will be reduced to one-lane of traffic starting Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to allow for relocating utility poles, the town said., The 10-day-project is preliminary work before the state, starting this summer, shuts down the stretch of highway to replace one bridge and repair the 18th century bridge over the Stony Brook. The closure is expected to last four months, the town said., The state Department of Transportation has scheduled a public meeting for March 21, starting at 4:30 p.m., in Witherspoon Hall, to talk about that project.
