The Monroe Township Public Library, 4 Municipal Plaza, will celebrate the creative community during its third annual Makerfest 11 a.m.-4 p.m. March 25.
The event, which is designed to honor creativity, hobbies and interests, inventors, crafters and artists, will cater to a myriad of pursuits from woodshop to 3D printing to sewing to an outdoor catapulting demonstration and more.
There will be an engineering-challenge table to promote science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education; a retro-technology table to display items such as rotary phones, typewriters and record players; movie and music-editing software; and 3D printing. Approximately 20 exhibitors will be on site.
