EAST BRUNSWICK — The East Brunswick Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in identifying the driver who struck a pedestrian with a motor vehicle and then fled the scene.
The East Brunswick police responded to a hit and run accident on Old Bridge Turnpike near Gunia Street where a pedestrian was struck while jogging around 9:54 p.m. on March 16.
The vehicle, described as a Dodge Intrepid manufactured between 1998 to 2004, continued driving southbound on Old Bridge Turnpike after striking the victim, who sustained injuries to his right arm, back and stomach, according to information provided by the East Brunswick Police Department.
Located in the area of the accident was a portion of a front passenger’s-side bumper possibly from the suspect vehicle, police said.
