The Garden Club of Metuchen will hold a program, “A Walk in the Leonard J. Buck Garden” at its next meeting on April 3.
Kathleen Pocgalsky, a gardener there for 17 years, will present a slide show of the unique garden and answer questions about the history of the garden and its plants.
Located in Far Hills and part of the Somerset County park system, the garden makes use of a glacial rock formation and hosts thousands of tiny rock-friendly plants, as well as wildflowers and woodland shrubs.
The meeting will take place at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Fryer Hall, 27 Oak Ave., Metuchen. The meeting begins at 6:45 p.m. with light refreshments, followed by the program at 7. All are invited.
