A Lawrenceville man faces 20 years in prison and a lifetime of supervised release after pleading guilty to one count of the production of child pornography, according to Acting U.S. Attorney William E. Fitzpatrick., Curtis E. Thompson, 32, of Lawrenceville, offered the guilty plea in U.S. District Court in Newark on Wednesday. Thompson, who uses the aliases of Frank Lucas and CT West, will be formally sentenced April 13., Thompson admitted in court that from May to September 2015, he used Facebook Messenger and FaceTime on his iPhone to communicate with a minor and that minor’s friend to engage in sexually explicit activity and to either record it or stream it online., Thompson also admitted to offering and making payments to the victim for recording and streaming the sexually explicit conduct., Thompson has been in custody since his arrest on Nov. 10, 2015., Fitzpatrick, the acting U.S. Attorney, gave credit to Special Agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation – acting under the direction of Special Agent in Charge Timothy Gallagher in Newark – with the investigation.
