Manalapan police seek witnesses to crash

MANALAPAN – People who witnessed a motor vehicle collision in which one person was injured are being asked to contact the Manalapan Police Department with any information they may be able to offer to detectives.

At 11:58 p.m. March 28, officers responded to Route 9 north in the area of Ryan Road to investigate a report of a two-vehicle crash.

Police said that in the aftermath of the crash, the driver of one vehicle, Anthony P. Galladay, 37, of Manchester, was charged with driving while intoxicated and was arrested at the scene.

Police said Galladay was found to be a wanted person by the Monmouth County Superior Court and was initially placed in the Monmouth County jail, Freehold Township.

The passenger in Galladay’s vehicle sustained head injuries and was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. The driver of the second vehicle was not injured during the collision, according to police.

In other incidents reported by police:

• On April 1 at 11:59 a.m., a Manalapan resident reported that unknown individuals removed his 2016 Mercedes GL450 from the driveway of his home on Silverleaf Way sometime between 10 p.m. March 31 and 11:45 a.m. April 1. The vehicle was locked and all of the keys were in the owner’s possession.
