Harold Roy Malsbury, better known to friends as “Dusty”, was born in Imlaystown, NJ on March 3, 1931. He was the youngest of three children born to the late Roy and Lillian (Kimble) Malsbury. He was a long-time resident of Hightstown, NJ. A resourceful and determined man with many strengths and talents, he overcame obstacles and challenges that would have stopped others in their tracks.
He and his late wife, Frances, were proprietors of Malsbury Door Sales, his proudest and most successful business venture. After retirement he moved to the Florida Keys and later enjoyed RV traveling with his wife Joyce. They eventually settled in Malabar, FL.
Harold was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting, boating and deep-sea fishing. His lifelong passion for “anything with an engine” led him to racing stock cars on tracks in central Jersey and Pennsylvania. He was especially fond of East Windsor Speedway where he won over 50% of the Sportsman Features that he entered, carrying the checkered flag in his signature maroon and cream colored “777”. He was honored for his role as a legend driver, for helping start the New Egypt Speedway.
He took his last lap in life on April 9, 2017.
He is predeceased by his first wife of 30 years, Frances and is survived by his present wife, Joyce Farrands, an older brother Leroy Malsbury of Red Oak, VA., his children, Nancy Forer of NC, Linda Malsbury of Princeton, NJ and Douglas Malsbury of Ewing, NJ.
