Arts programs available to South Brunswick seniors

 

The South Brunswick Senior Center will offer a variety of programs centered around arts and entertainment for residents ages 55 and older during May.

As part of the State Theatre’s Artist in Residency program, Glenis Redmond, an award-winning poet, educator and writer from North Carolina, will share tales of her life, her family and her heritage through her poetry from 12:15-1:30 p.m. May 8.

The Crossroads Middle School South Jazz Band will perform at 12:30 p.m. May 1, while the Crossroads Middle School North Jazz Band will perform at 12:30 p.m. May 11.

To Celebrate Older Americans Month, Winston will provide live music from 12:15-1:15 p.m. May 18. Sponsored by Atrium Health and Senior Living.

 

 

 

 

The Franklin High Steppers, a dance troupe of adults ages 55 and older, will perform at 12:30 p.m. May 30.
