The South Brunswick Police Department and the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs continue to provide the Project Medicine Drop box in the police department lobby at 540 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick.
Project Medicine Drop allows residents to safely dispose of unused, unwanted or expired medications 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Pills, capsules, patches and pet medications are accepted, but not syringes/sharps or liquid medications.
Empty medications into a plastic or zip-tie bag, tie or seal the bag and place it in the drop box. Do not put medication containers or boxes into the drop box.
A special collection will take place April 29.
