Aberdeen Township invites the community to its third annual “Pink Pancake Breakfast” on May 21 at the The Fiorendo Sigismondi Community Center in Cliffwood Beach.
The event, which will be held from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., is a fundraiser to benefit Bayshore Community Hospital’s “Pink Fund,” which provides mammograms for women with little or no insurance.
Breakfast will include pink pancakes, bacon, sausage, home fries, eggs, fruit, coffee, tea and juice. Tickets, which cost $7 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under, can be purchased at the door.
“Pancakes in Pink” is part of the month-long “Paint the Town Pink” initiative created by Meridian Health to encourage women, aged 40 and older, to have an annual mammogram, raise money to provide mammography to uninsured women in our community and make a difference in their lives.
