The Rumson Country Day School has announced that Dr. Nancy Holodak has been appointed as the Dean of Curriculum for the 2017-2018 school year.
In this newly created position, Holodak will be responsible for overseeing the curriculum from preschool through grade eight. She will work closely with the division heads and teachers to develop and articulate the curricular vision for the school while upholding Rumson Country Day School’s mission to provide a dynamic, challenging academic experience, according to a press release from the school.
A veteran educator, Holodak has served as a teacher as an administrator in both the United States and in Switzerland, Brazil and Taiwan.
She most recently was the Director of Educational Design and Innovation at the Berkeley Carroll School in Brooklyn where she supported their STEAM initiative among many others.
“I am delighted to be joining The Rumson Country Day School community as
the Dean of Curriculum.” Holodak said. “I am excited to meet the students, parents and teachers and learn about everything that makes the community unique and special. I look forward to making many contributions to the school’s ongoing growth and development for many years to come.”
