• The Freehold Public Library, East Main Street, Freehold Borough, is displaying items and memorabilia provided by the Freehold First Aid and Emergency Squad, which in 2016 marked its 75th year of service to Freehold Borough and Freehold Township. • The Monmouth County Park System will celebrate Walnford Day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 21 at Historic Walnford, Walnford Road, Upper Freehold. The event is for all ages. Demonstrations include spinning, weaving, basket weaving, rug hooking, straw braiding, woodworking and blacksmithing. • May is Older Americans Month and the YMCA of Western Monmouth County, East Freehold Road, Freehold Township, is inviting residents to attend its National Senior Health and Fitness Day event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 31. • The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth Country, Freehold Township, announces its next journaling series, “Our Stories, Ourselves – Jewish Journaling and More,” facilitated by Michele Bernstein Klausner. • The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County, Freehold Township, will feature a presentation by Barry Jacobson about the 1950s TV program “Your Show of Shows” at 2 p.m. June 25. • Look for turtles, egrets, herons, ospreys and other wildlife during a boat tour of the Manasquan Reservoir, Howell. Each 45-minute tour leaves from the Visitor Center, Windeler Road, Howell.
