The South River Police Department will hold its annual Bicycle Rodeo and Public Safety Day at 9 a.m. on June 3 at Denny Stadium, David Street.
This event is free and will provide free food, drinks, a bicycle raffle, entertainment and a bicycle helmet giveaway.

The South River Fire Department, South River Rescue Squad and the Middlesex County Special Operations Response Team will display their specialized equipment. The Middlesex County Sheriff’s Department will conduct its Fingerprint & File program. A visit by the New Jersey State Police North Star helicopter is scheduled. Planet Bike from East Brunswick will be in attendance performing free bicycle inspections. For the second year in a row, the Dialed Action Sports Team will perform a BMX stunt show.
Demonstrations may include the use of simulated effects such as loud noises and smoke. Announcements are made prior to these demonstrations.
Bicyclists must wear helmets to participate.
