Metuchen Junebug ArtFest calendar

The 10th Annual Metuchen Junebug ArtFest kicks off from 6-10 p.m. June 3 with an array of open air art exhibits, live art events and music performances throughout the streets of downtown Metuchen. Main Street will be closed during Junebug.

New this year, the festival is offering seated music concert experiences and will feature bands from the tri-state area in a range of genres: Rock, Country, Blues, Latin Salsa, Jazz, Alternative/Punk, Indie Rock and Acoustic Americana.

June 3: Unveiling of a large wooden creation painted by Madison-based artist Dan Fenelon, Metuchen High School Student Art Show, Metuchen Library Community Nursery School, Cai’s Creativity Corner, and Imma Barrera Photo Walk/Competition.
June 10: Live Glass Blowing,  Art e Vino Kids and Adults Painting Party East Falls Glassworks, Philadelphia’s only public access glassblowing studio, Open Mic Night at Cai’s Cafe and Cai’s Creativity Corner.
June 17: Junior Bug: Kids Art Zone, 4-on-1 Painters on Canvas: The Surrealist Vision, Meet and Greet with BLAME Filmmakers, Junebug Red Carpet Exclusive: Meet the CARBON Filmmaker, Hailey’s Harp and Pub Beer Garden, Novita Wine Bar, Woodmont Metro Food Grove, Junebug Grab and Go Meals.
June 24: Pottery Wheel Demonstration, Dancing with Bubbles, Cai’s Creativity Corner.
Throughout June there will be a window gallery competition and a Junebug Art Gallery at the Metuchen Public Library.
