Voters during Tuesday’s primary election will chose candidates to run in down-ballot races for municipal office.
In East Windsor, Perry M. Shapiro, Alan Rosenberg and Denise Daniels are running unopposed on the Democratic side for council. No Republican is running.
In Hightstown, Connor Montferrat and Charles Stults are running for the Republican nomination for council. No Democrat filed to run.
In Hopewell Borough, Charles Schuyler Morehouse and Robert Lewis will run on the Republican side for the two three-year seats up for grabs on council. Shelby Tewell, also a Republican, is running for the one-year-unexpired term. No Democrats are running.
In Hopewell Township, Laura T. Gainsborg is running on the Republican side, while Vanessa Sandom and Kevin D. Kuchinski are running on the Democratic side.
In Pennington, Glen Griffiths and Catherine Chandler are running on the Democratic side for council, while no Republicans filed to run.
In Princeton, Democrats David E. Cohen and Leticia Fraga are running for council, while no Republicans filed to run.
In Cranbury, Republican Nancy Witt is running unopposed, as is Democrat Matthew A. Scott.
In Hillsborough Township, Jane M. Staats and Harrison J. Burke are running on the Democratic side, while the GOP ticket consists of Gloria McCauley and Doug Tomson.
And in Montgomery, it will be Rich Smith of the GOP running unopposed. Democrat Sadaf F. Jaffer is also unopposed.
Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
