Northeastern University, Boston, announced that the following area residents have been named to the dean’s list for the 2017 spring semester: From Englishtown, Brittany Fung; From Freehold, Amanda Freyre, Lindsey McTighe, Samantha Schloeman; From Manalapan, Frederick Magliozzi Jr., Max Rais, Joshua Pensky, Christian Tringali, Ryan Crowe, Rachel Dau, Rahul Mehta; From Marlboro, Meissane Benbrahim, Michael Manzon, Zacharia Hasan, Ariel Shoykhetbrod; From Morganville, Shashank Kuderu, Kenneth Lau, Nina Tamashunas, Steven Hanley, Olivia Arnold, Alexander Gomez, Michael Shen.

Casey Wall of Colts Neck has been named to the dean’s list for the 2017 spring semester at Lebanon Valley College, Annville, Pa. Casey, who is a graduate of Colts Neck High School, received a Bachelor of Science in psychology.

Samantha Drake, the daughter of Leslie and Steve Drake of Marlboro, has been named to the dean’s list for the 2017 spring semester at Quinnipiac University, Hamden, Conn. Samantha is majoring in marketing. She has been inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the international honor society for collegiate schools of business.

Matthew Fishman of Manalapan received the Outstanding Achievement in Software Engineering award from the School of Engineering at Quinnipiac University during the university’s 86th undergraduate commencement exercises in Hamden, Conn.

Stephen Sabatini of Morganville was recently initiated into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest all-discipline collegiate honor society. Sabatini was initiated at the United States Naval Academy, Annapolis, Md.

Megan Montani of Freehold has been named to the 2017 spring dean’s list at UMass Dartmouth, North Dartmouth, Mass.

Carolyn Wan of Freehold has graduated from Bucknell University, Lewisburg, Pa.

Daniel Gross of Freehold has graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in health science and a minor in business and will continue in the doctor of physical therapy program at University of the Sciences, Philadelphia.

Joshua Chu of Marlboro has graduated with a Bachelor of Science in health science and will continue in the doctor of physical therapy program at University of the Sciences, Philadelphia.
