Sophia Brana of Old Bridge graduated from Marist College, Poughkeepsie, New York, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in media studies – film and television.
Kelly O’Donnell of South Amboy was inducted to Kappa Delta Pi, the international society for education, while enrolled at the University of Scranton, Scranton, Pennsylvania.
The honor society is dedicated to the ideals of humanity, science, service and toil.
O’Donnell is a junior majoring in early and primary teacher education.
Megan Winton of Old Bridge has been named to the Dean’s Honor Roll at Oklahoma City University, Oklahoma City, for the Spring 2017 semester.
Dean’s Honor Roll status is awarded to students who successfully complete a minimum of 12 credit hours and maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
The following local students have been named to the dean’s list at York College of Pennsylvania, York, Pennsylvania, for the Spring 2017 semester:
Kelly Hartigan of Sayreville, a junior early elementary education major; and
Brielle Schultz of the Laurence Harbor section of Old Bridge, a sophomore intelligence analysis major.
To be eligible for this honor, a student must be registered for at least 12 academic credit hours and earn a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher.
The following local students have been named to the president’s honor list for high academic achievement at Coastal Carolina University, Conway, South Carolina, for the 2017 spring semester:
Nicole Baldino of Old Bridge, an elementary education major; and
Erin McQuade of Sayreville, an accounting major.
To qualify for the president’s list, students must earn a 4.0 GPA and must be enrolled full time.
