Joanne Linda Frank Waxman died on May 8th, 2017 at her home in Princeton Junction, NJ. Born in 1939 to Isabel and Jack Frank, Joanne grew up in Jamaica Queens New York.
She graduated from Jamaica High School and attended Queens College and Adelphi University.
Joanne loved horseback riding, travel, antiques, theater and gardening. She was a volunteer EMT as well as President of the Twin W First Aid Squad in Princeton Junction New Jersey. Joanne was active in the Girl Scouts of America for 18 years, both as a Scout and a Leader.
Joanne’s irreverent sense of humor and quick wit will be missed by everyone. She regaled everyone with her storytelling and her easy going, practical approach to life.
Joanne worked professionally as a public accountant, primarily in the area of taxation, estates & trusts, and she specialized in helping elderly clients navigate financial challenges in retirement. She successfully ran her own practice in Princeton Junction for over 30 years. Her practice merged with Lear & Pannepacker LLP in 2006, and she continued to practice part-time and care for her extended family of clients up until her passing.
Joanne was the mother of Mark Lawrence Waxman who predeceased her. She is survived by her husband Frederick R Beach and her brother Robert Frank.
