“Waterways of the World” Art Exhibit at Barron Arts Center

The Barron Arts Center will hold “Waterways of the World” Art Exhibit from July 8 to Aug. 14 at the center, 582 Rahway Ave., Woodbridge.

The artist reception will he held 7-9 p.m., July 11. Admission is free with a suggested donation of $5.

This exhibit focuses on the practical, spiritual and environmental role of water and waterways in the global society. Human creativity is the driving force behind protecting water resources, rivers and wetlands while still upholding respect for the beauty of the natural environment.

The show will feature works in all mediums from renowned area artists.

Featured artists are Jan Bogdanski, Nikolay Budylin, Yelena Budylin, Gary Bulwicz, Arlene Carallo, Virginia Carroll, Nancy Casteras, Joe Castronova, Lauren Curtis, Grace Chiarella, Margie DeAngelo, Lucyna Filipiak, Sonal Gadhavi, Steve Kager, Angelee Leppin, Harvey Levine, Maryann Martin, Thomas Martin, Brian McCormack, Sandy Mezinis, Kathleen Nademus, Aleksandra K.  Nowak, Nancy Ori, Linda Pietraski, Monica Schraiber Otero, Roberta Scott, Ray Skibinski, Joan Sonnenfeld, Cynthia Walling, Anker West, Nancy Wilton, Jodie Wishney, Nella Zadra, and Enrique Zaldivar.
