On Campus

The following students from Monroe have been named to the dean’s list at Norwich University, Northfield, Vermont, for the Spring 2017 semester:

Brendan Germano, Michael B. Hommer and Anthony Aversano.

 

Matthew Krause of Spotswood received a Student-Athlete of the Year Award at American International College, Springfield, Massachusetts, at the college’s Athletic Awards ceremony this spring.

The award is presented to the male and female student athlete for each class year who best exemplifies a well-rounded student-athlete.

Krause received the First Year Male Student-Athlete of the Year Award. Krause, considered the most talented player on a talented, young Yellow Jackets’ baseball squad, had a seven RBI game during the team’s spring break trip to Florida, where he had both a grand slam and an inside-the-park home run. Krause ranks first on the team in runs batted in and total bases, and is second in slugging percentage. He hit a .286 average with a .489 slugging percentage and 32 total RBI. In addition, Krause was named the NE10 Rookie of the Week twice during the season.

He is majoring in criminal justice.

 

 

Allison Loeser of East Brunswick has been named to the dean’s list at Loyola University, Baltimore, for the Spring 2017 semester.

In order to qualify for the dean’s list, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.
Loeser is a member of the Class of 2018.
