Beach volleyball tournament on Sept. 17 in Manasquan

The Big Brothers Big Sisters 11th annual volleyball tournament  will be played on Sept. 17 at the Main Street Beach in Manasquan from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Those interested can form a team of six to eight people and raise $75 per person ($50 for students) to compete, according to the Big Brothers Big Sister press release. After registering online, participants will be able to share their personal fundraising page online to reach their fundraising goal.

Participants who raise $150 or more will receive a BBBS beach towel and trophies and prizes will be awarded to the highest fundraising team. The Spike for the Cup Trophy will be awarded to the first-place Competitive Team and to the first-place Recreational Team. There will be different brackets for different ages.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided to participants.
