Middlesex County Fair returns Aug. 7-13

The Middlesex County Fair will held from Aug. 7-13 at the Middlesex County Fairgrounds, 655 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.

Hours are 5-11 p.m. Monday-Friday, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturdy and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.

Entertainment and events include fireworks on Monday and Saturday; The Marvelous Mutts Canine Spectacular; The Pork Chop Review comical animal show; Barnyard Express with farmer John Forshee and his border collie Smudge; Deputy Boots & Sheriff Britches Ford Dream Camper Show, a cowboy sing-along; David Darwin’s one-man sideshow; a visit from Kris Clayton, the tallest man in Middlesex County; and various wrestling shows presented by UWA Elite.

There will be numerous food vendors; exhibits by New Jersey Master Gardeners, the Middlesex County 4-H and antique tractors; and a variety of vendors.

Tickets are $7 for adults, $4 for seniors over age 65, $1 for children ages 3-12 and free for children under 3. Parking is free.
