Senator Joseph F. Vitale (D-Middlesex) and the Woodbridge Chamber of Commerce will face WCTC 1450 AM and Magic 98.3 FM in charity softball game at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 6 at Field 1, Warren Park, Florida Grove Road, Woodbridge.
This game, which is celebrating 20 years, is an effort to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Plainfield and Middlesex County.
Habitat for Humanity’s purpose is to eliminate sub-standard housing in Greater Plainfield and Middlesex County. To help reach that goal, Habitat refurbishes and constructs new houses which they sell at a reduced cost to very low-income individuals and families who actively participate in the construction of their home. One hundred percent of the funds raised at this softball game will help further Habitat for Humanity’s goal of making decent, safe and affordable homes available and improve the quality of life for people in the area.
