The Monmouth County Park System will sponsor its Wind & Sea festival on Sept. 16 at Bayshore Waterfront Park in Port Monmouth.
The event will run from 11 a.m. through 5 p.m. This family-friendly event celebrates all things water.
Activities include stand-up paddling, kayaking, fishing, sailing, beach volleyball, kite flying, crabbing, sand castle building, seining, shelling, sand casting, children’s crafts, storytelling, naturalist activities, and more.
Most activities are free but some may have a fee. Admission and parking are free. Parking is available at the Belford Ferry Terminal located at 10 Harbor Way, Belford. A shuttle bus will transport visitors to and from the ferry terminal to Bayshore Waterfront Park.
