Cranbury was packed with people who took advantage of the nice weather to attend the annual Cranbury Day street fair in town.
Some 90 to 100 vendors — from the likes of nonprofits to food vendors — participated on Saturday. That amount was higher than last year’s Cranbury Day. Helicopter rides enabled people to take in the day from above.
“You could hear that helicopter all day long,” said Christine Thompson, a co-chairwoman of the event.
Cranbury Day is a tradition that dates to the 1970s. Though there is no official counting of how many years it has been going on, the day draws a crowd from the region.
