Edison seeks suggestions on community center

EDISON Township officials will seek suggestions and advice from residents on Thursday about the types of programs and services they would like to see offered at a new municipal community center.
Edison is hosting a public forum for residents from 7:30–9 p.m. on Thursday in the Council Chamber at the Edison Municipal Complex, 100 Municipal Blvd., off Route 27.
“Recommendations from our residents – especially parents, their children and our senior citizens – will be invaluable during our planning process. We hope to hear from as many people and local groups as possible,” Mayor Tom Lankey said.
Suburban Consulting Engineers, a Wall Township firm, is conducting a feasibility study and developing a conceptual plan for a new community center. This public forum is a vital component in completing this process.
People who are unable to attend may submit their comments to Melissa Perilstein, the administrator of policy and strategic initiatives for Edison at HYPERLINK “mailto:[email protected][email protected].
